Graduate Students organized the first Brown Bag Graduate Research Seminar on Friday, October 14, 2022, in Burke Hawthorne Hall. Students and faculty examined current research on social media topics and contributed ideas for future research to be undertaken in the department. Graduate Assistant and event organizer Amanda Kporwofa said "The colloquium was a great opportunity for graduate students to discuss their research and receive feedback from both graduate faculty and graduate students."
